Dual Approach · Florida Telehealth

Family Medicine and Mental Health, From One Provider

Most people bounce between a primary care office and a psychiatric prescriber who never speak to each other. Christine Forge is board certified in both. You can choose mental health care, family medicine, or a dual approach that treats them together.

    • Labs, symptoms, and medications reviewed as one picture

    Florida Access to Care

Fragmented Care Is the Default in Florida

Splitting mental health from primary care is standard practice — and it's exactly how medical drivers of mood symptoms slip through.

    What the Dual Approach Covers

Your Body and Your Mood Aren't Separate Appointments

When one provider handles both, the overlaps stop getting missed and the plan stops contradicting itself.

    Psychiatric Care

Evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar spectrum, OCD, PTSD, and more.

    Family Medicine Concerns

Everyday primary care questions, chronic condition management, and the symptoms that don't fit neatly under one specialist.

    Lab Review and Interpretation

Thyroid, iron, B12, vitamin D, and metabolic labs reviewed in the context of how you actually feel.

    Chronic Illness Gap Care

Support between specialist visits, when nobody is looking at the whole picture or managing how it all interacts.

    Whole-Family Scheduling

One practice for parents, teens, and children 8 and up — a single relationship instead of four different portals.

    Unhurried Telehealth Visits

Appointments long enough to actually explain what's happening, from anywhere in Florida.

    About Your Provider

One Provider Who Sees the Whole Chart

Christine Forge holds board certification as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. That means thyroid disease, anemia, vitamin D deficiency, perimenopause, sleep apnea, and chronic illness are considered alongside mood, focus, and anxiety — not filed under someone else's specialty.

You decide the scope. Some patients want mental health care only. Some want family medicine support. Many want both handled by the same person so nothing falls between the cracks.

Christine is licensed in Florida with full prescribing authority, including controlled substances when clinically appropriate.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to choose between mental health and family medicine?

No. You can book mental health care, family medicine, or a dual approach that addresses both in the same relationship. You can also start with one and add the other later.

Is this a replacement for my primary care doctor?

It can be for many concerns, and for others it works alongside your existing PCP and specialists. Many patients use this practice for the gap between specialist visits.

Can you order and review labs?

Yes. Labs can be ordered when clinically indicated, and existing results are reviewed as part of your evaluation.

    What ages do you see?

Ages 8 and up — children, teens, adults, and older adults.

    Do you manage chronic conditions?

Yes, including ongoing support for chronic illness where symptoms, medications, and mental health interact. See the Chronic Health Gap Care page for detail.

    Is everything done by video?

Florida care is provided by secure telehealth video. You need to be physically located in Florida at the time of your visit.
