Dual Medical & Mental Health Care

One Nevada Provider for Both Sides of Your Health

Most people are told to keep their physical health and their mental health in separate buildings. Christine Forge, MSN, AAPRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is certified in both family practice and psychiatry, so you can choose medical care, mental health care, or a dual approach that treats them together.

    • Choose family medicine, mental health, or both in the same visit
    • Labs ordered and interpreted alongside your mental health plan
    • Prescription continuity without a separate appointment marathon
    • Ages 8 and up, statewide by secure video

    Nevada Access to Care

Fragmented Care Is the Norm in Nevada

Nevada has among the fewest primary care and psychiatric providers per resident in the country, which is exactly why one provider covering both is worth something.

    What This Looks Like

Your History Told Once, To One Person

When both halves of your care live in one chart, follow-ups start where the last visit ended instead of restarting from scratch.

    Family Medicine

Everyday primary care concerns, chronic condition management, and prescription continuity between specialist visits.

    Mental Health Care

Evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for anxiety, depression, and mood symptoms.

    Labs Interpreted Together

Thyroid, iron, B12, vitamin D, and hormone results read in the context of your mood, not in isolation.

    Refill Continuity

Routine maintenance medications managed on an ongoing schedule so nothing lapses between appointments.

    Chronic Illness Support

Autoimmune disease, pain, and hormone conditions and the mental health toll they carry, handled by the same person.

    Entirely by Telehealth

Visits happen from home. No driving across Clark or Washoe County, no waiting room, no infection exposure.

    About Your Provider

Dual Certified, Which Is Rarer Than It Should Be

Christine holds certification as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. When fatigue could be your thyroid, your medication, your depression, or all three, one provider can sort it out instead of two care teams each guessing at half the picture.

You decide the scope. Some patients come for mental health only, some for family medicine only, and many for both — that choice is yours and it can change over time.

Care is available to Nevada residents ages 8 and up, statewide. Controlled substances are not prescribed in Nevada.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use both services?

No. You can come for mental health care only, family medicine only, or both. Many patients start with one and add the other later.

    Does this replace my specialists?

No. Keep your rheumatologist, cardiologist, or endocrinologist. This fills the gap between those visits — day-to-day care, prescription continuity, and the mental health side.

Can labs be ordered in Nevada by telehealth?

Yes. Labs are ordered to a facility near you, and results are reviewed with you at follow-up in the context of your full picture.

Are controlled substances prescribed in Nevada?

No. Controlled substances are not prescribed to Nevada patients. Non-controlled options are available for both medical and mental health care.

    What ages are seen?

Ages 8 and up. A parent or guardian participates in visits for minors.

How quickly can I be seen?

Most new patients are scheduled within days, and you can book directly online without a referral.
